1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to CorePrep. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the CorePrep website, application, question bank, images, explanations, analytics, software, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using any CorePrep content, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including learners, administrators, reviewers, and any other person who accesses the Service.
2. Account Access
CorePrep account access may be limited, modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice. Account access does not create a right to ongoing access, future features, support levels, data retention, public availability, or commercial launch.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use CorePrep. By registering or using the Service, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
4. Limited License
Subject to these Terms, CorePrep grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service solely for your own personal, non-commercial educational study during the period when your account is authorized for access.
You may not transfer, assign, share, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise provide your account, access rights, or any CorePrep content to another person or entity. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by CorePrep and its licensors.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its content are owned by CorePrep or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, contract, and other intellectual property laws. This includes all questions, stems, answer choices, explanations, educational objectives, clinical pearls, references, tables, images, figures, CT stacks, hotspot materials, user interface elements, software, source code, workflows, reports, analytics, selection logic, and compilations.
You do not acquire ownership rights in CorePrep content by accessing the Service, answering questions, reviewing explanations, viewing images, creating tests, or receiving performance data.
6. Prohibited Uses of CorePrep Content
CorePrep content is provided only inside the Service for authorized study. Except where CorePrep gives express written permission, you may not do, attempt to do, or assist another person in doing any of the following:
- Copy, reproduce, photograph, screenshot, screen record, print, download, save, transcribe, or capture CorePrep content.
- Upload, post, publish, transmit, distribute, display, disclose, or make CorePrep content available in any app, website, message board, chat, file share, social media service, document, presentation, or other medium.
- Sell, resell, license, rent, lease, commercialize, or otherwise exploit CorePrep content or access to the Service.
- Create derivative works, flashcards, summaries, training sets, question banks, answer keys, explanations, or competing educational products based on CorePrep content.
- Use CorePrep content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or prompt artificial intelligence, machine learning, or automated content-generation systems.
- Scrape, crawl, index, bulk access, data mine, automate access to, or systematically extract content from the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, bypass, or interfere with the Service, its software, access controls, security measures, watermarking, or rights-management features.
- Use the Service for the benefit of a competitor or to develop a product or service that is similar to or competitive with CorePrep.
7. Account Security and Monitoring
Each account is for one individual user only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not share your password, allow another person to use your account, use another person's account, or create accounts using false or misleading information.
CorePrep may review account activity, access patterns, session data, device or browser information, content-interaction data, and other security signals to operate the Service, protect users, detect unauthorized access, investigate suspected copying or distribution, and enforce these Terms.
8. Watermarks and Forensic Identifiers
CorePrep may include visible or invisible account-specific identifiers, watermarks, tracing signals, or other forensic markers in questions, explanations, images, tables, media, and related content. These identifiers may be associated with your account or session and may be used to detect unauthorized copying, screenshots, redistribution, account sharing, or other misuse.
You may not remove, obscure, alter, disable, bypass, or attempt to discover the implementation of any watermark, identifier, copyright notice, access control, or security feature. CorePrep may use these identifiers and related records to investigate leaks, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, enforce these Terms, and pursue legal or equitable remedies.
9. User and Admin Uploads
If you upload, submit, import, or provide content to CorePrep, including question text, images, figures, CT stacks, reference tables, explanations, metadata, or other media, you are responsible for that content. You represent that you own the content or have all rights and permissions needed to provide it to CorePrep and to allow CorePrep to host, store, process, display, reproduce, adapt, and use it as needed to operate, secure, maintain, improve, and provide the Service.
You may not upload protected health information, patient-identifying information, content that violates another person's rights, or content that you are not authorized to use. CorePrep may remove or restrict uploaded content that it believes may violate these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, or privacy obligations.
Community case contributions must be original, standard multiple-choice educational questions. They may not include recalled examination content, material copied from another question bank, hotspot questions, CT stacks, DICOM files, archives, video, or audio. You must review the text, visible image content, and embedded metadata before submission and confirm that they contain no protected health information or other patient identifiers.
By submitting a community case, you grant CorePrep a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to store, review, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, display, and distribute the submitted content in connection with the Service and its educational materials. CorePrep may change the stem, choices, captions, explanation, categorization, or formatting; may decline the submission; and does not promise that a submission will be reviewed or published. If a question is published, CorePrep may display the reviewed public contributor name you provided. Do not use a name you are not authorized to make public.
10. De-identified Clinical Content
CorePrep is intended to use de-identified educational clinical content. You may not attempt to identify, re-identify, contact, or locate any patient, clinician, author, institution, source case, or other person connected to de-identified clinical images, vignettes, media, or explanations.
If you believe any CorePrep content contains identifiable patient information or otherwise creates a privacy concern, you must stop using that content and notify CorePrep promptly at support@radcoreprep.com.
11. Medical Education Disclaimer
CorePrep is an educational study tool for medical professionals and students. CorePrep content is not medical advice, clinical guidance, diagnosis, treatment, a standard of care, or a substitute for professional judgment, institutional policy, current literature, or direct patient assessment.
CorePrep does not guarantee exam performance, certification, licensure, clinical competence, or any particular educational outcome. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it in any academic, professional, clinical, or examination setting.
12. No Exam-Board Affiliation
CorePrep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the American Board of Radiology or any other examination board, certification body, medical society, hospital, institution, or trademark owner unless CorePrep expressly states otherwise in writing. All third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
13. Enforcement and Termination
CorePrep may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time if CorePrep believes that you have violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, misused CorePrep content, shared your account, attempted to copy or distribute content, uploaded prohibited content, or otherwise acted inconsistently with the integrity of the Service.
CorePrep may preserve account records, usage records, forensic identifiers, uploaded content, and related evidence when reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, enforce these Terms, comply with legal process, respond to claims, or protect CorePrep, users, content owners, patients, or the public. CorePrep reserves all rights and remedies available under law and equity.
14. Privacy
CorePrep's collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that CorePrep may process account information, learning activity, access logs, security signals, uploaded content, and forensic identifiers as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party hosting, authentication, database, storage, analytics, communications, security, or other service providers. CorePrep is not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, or policies that are not controlled by CorePrep.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. CorePrep disclaims all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. CorePrep does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, current, or free of harmful components.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CorePrep and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, business, educational opportunity, or exam outcome, arising out of or related to your access to or use of the Service.
18. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory law that applies, you agree that disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
19. Changes to Terms
CorePrep may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted means that you accept the updated Terms.
